Railway Recruitment Cell 2024: RRC has released recruitment notification for Apprentice. All interested ex-servicemen can apply online from 23 September 2024 to 22 October 2024

RRC Apprentice Vacancies: Reservation for Ex-servicemen
Railway Recruitment Cell has released total 5066 vacancy out of which 152 posts are reserved for only Ex-servicemen.

RRC Eligibility Criteria for Ex-servicemen:
Age Limit:
The maximum age limit for ex-servicemen is 37 years and Ex-servicemen who belongs OBC category will receive additional 3 years and SC/ST candidates will receive 5 years of age relaxation.

RRC Education Qualification 2024:

Candidates must be 12^th Pass with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from recognized Board.
ITI certificate affiliated to NCVT/SCVT is compulsory in relevant trade (Fitter, Welder, Wireman, Plumber, Electrician, Painter, Mechanic, Pipe Fitter, Carpenter)

RRC Selection Process 2024
Selection of the eligible Applicants will be based on the merit list which would be prepared taking the average of the percentage of marks obtained by the Applicants in both Matriculation (with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks) and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.

RRC Application Fee:
Candidates have to pay 100 Rs. application fee.

RRC Apprentice Training Period:
The selected Applicants are required to undergo apprenticeship training for a period of 01 Year.

RRC Apprentice Stipend:
Selected Candidates engaged as Apprentices will undergo Apprenticeship training for a period of one year and will be paid a Stipend during the training at the prescribed rate as per extant rules governed by the concerned State Governments.
