1. Ensuring that the organisation meets all required security and associated health and safety objectives
2. Monitoring & managing security systems and equipment servicing and/or maintenance in conjunction with other appropriate departments
3. To manage and direct the overall performance of the security team and its individual members
4. Train and appraise individual team members to ensure targets are met
5. Direct and manage the performance and development of team members
